Surfridge Brewing is a taproom and eatery nestled in the beautiful Witch Hazel Works property in Centerbrook, Connecticut. With a 10-barrel copper and brass system and a natural, airy vibe, the space reflects the connection between timeless New England sophistication with California roots.

Wanting to highlight the beer making process, the copper and brass system is on full display and can be seen from everywhere within and outside the taproom. Creating different bar and seating areas was also a priority, and with large garage-style glass doors, the taproom can be opened to the exterior patio during the warmer months. Bright and fun interior finishes like tile, lighting, furniture, and a mural by Trek6 bring vibrancy and warmth to the open, industrial space.

When we purchased the property it included a two-car garage that we looked at as an opportunity for our studio.  By adding second floor dormers and totally renovating the building we we able to achieve a welcoming office, very convenient to our home.
